Find your language level with our free placement tests – and have fun doing it!

Before starting a language course, it’s important to know your current level. Only then can we ensure that you choose the right course and achieve your learning goals. But don’t forget: learning languages should also be fun!

At Lima Language School, we offer free online placement tests for various languages. These tests were developed by renowned publishers like Klett and Cornelsen and provide an accurate assessment of your language skills.

Why should you take a placement test?

The right course: A placement test helps you find the course that best suits your level and brings you joy.
Targeted learning: Based on the test results, our teachers can identify your strengths and weaknesses and tailor the lessons to your needs. This way, you’ll learn efficiently and with fun!
Motivation: When you know your current level, you can track your progress better and stay motivated. And with motivation and fun, learning becomes much easier!

Important notes:

Honest self-assessment: Please answer the test questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge. Only then will you get a reliable result.
Start with A1.1: We recommend starting the test with level A1.1, even if you already have some prior knowledge.
Have fun! Don’t see the test as an exam, but as an opportunity to discover your language level and start your new learning experience with fun.
